Senior Saints Ministry

"I have cared for you since you were born.  Yes, I carried you before you were born.  I will be your God throughout your lifetime--until your hair is white with age.  I made you and I will care for you.  I will carry you along and I will save you.” Isaiah 46:3-4 NLT

At times, being aged can present unique opportunities, but God created us and has promised to care for us throughout our lifetime.  That is what we do at Livingway Church…we love and care for each other.

We believe that serving God is timeless.  The purpose He has for our lives should continue to be used for His Glory, even as a Senior Saint. 

This ministry is designed to offer activities where men and women who are at least 55 years of age can come together in fellowship, attend social events, and reach out to the senior citizens in our community to share the love of God.  We want to remain sharp and alert, using our skills and talents for the Glory of God.

It is wonderful to know that as long as we are in this season of life, God is still working within us.  So, as we gather together for any of our events, we can be sure of God’s continued blessings and growth in our own lives.  We encourage you to come and join the Senior Saints.

If you are a Senior Saint, aged 55 and up, and desire to participate in this ministry, watch for the announcement of our events in the bulletin.  You may be required to sign up at the Information Desk or with a Senior Saint in the front Main Lobby for some gatherings.  Most events, however, will be open for you to just come and enjoy.
