There are several references in the Word of God to 'shaking something off'. We are told to shake the dust off our feet. We read of Peter shaking a snake off his hand. By principle, we are taught to shake things off! Remove their influence from our lives! Shortcomings! Religion! Heaviness! Both external and internal things must be shaken off to leave us free to pursue the things of God in our lives! This message will give you the necessary tools to help you shake off the things that hinder your progress in God!
The story of the tenth leper that returns to praise God is an exciting one! He is miraculously cleansed and able to return to his family after years of the horror of leprosy! But what of the other nine? Where are they and why did they not return to give thanks to Jesus for their healing? There are many excuses why one does not return to give thanks to God! This message explores nine specific excuses people use that keep them from being made whole.

There is such a faith that God will not deny! That's good news! But that good news carries even more good news! Not only will God not deny that kind of faith ... Satan absolutely cannot prevent it! In two separate accounts in the book of Luke, we are given great insight into that faith! It is persistent faith! Faith that refuses to be moved by circumstances! This message will build that kind of faith in you!

In what we know as the 'faith' chapter, Hebrews 11, it describes the fanatical ... beyond the normal ... outside the usual ... faith that these men and women exhibited in the face of great adversity. One of those men mentioned in this passage is Noah, indeed a man of fanatical faith! It is because of his fanatical faith that he survived one of the most incredible destructions of the known world at that time. If we follow his example, we will survive the floods that come against us with that same fanatical faith!

God never limits His power in us according to our own limitations. Before Abraham and Sarah conceived Isaac, Ishmael came on the scene. Even though he was certainly not the son that God had promised to Abraham and Sarah, he was still a part of Abraham. When his mother set him away from her to die, God did not allow him to die because the promise God had made to him had not come to pass yet! If God made the promise, it cannot die!

John 15:16 says, "Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you." It is a wonderful thing to know that we are ordained to bring forth fruit that remains! It is great to know that whatever we ask of our Father in Jesus' name, He will give it to us! But it all begins with LOVE ... obedience to John 15:12 will cause John 15:16 to come to pass!

In the 13th Chapter of Numbers, the account is given of the spies that were sent into the Promised Land to assess the enemy. We know that the land was blessed, but there were giants there. Any time you go after a blessed land in your life, there will be giants! But giants simply cannot win if you do not waver!

This is a wonderful sermon about the blessings of dwelling in God's house. In Numbers, we read of Korah and his disobedience and rebellion that cost many their very lives. But the 84th Psalm dedicates its song to the sons of Korah and speaks of the friendliness of the house of God. When you personally recognize how amiable His house really is, you will desire to dwell in His house forever!

Everything you need is already in the house! Just look at this story of the widow and her two sons! The cruse of oil that God used to perform the miraculous in their lives was already sitting on the shelf the whole time! Your faith has to stand strong during those pregnant pauses of life when you cannot see light at the end of the tunnel! Your receiving what you want depends on you letting go of what you have!

If you are a true dreamer, you will encounter great hatred in your life! Joseph, who is known as The Dreamer, faced everything from strong criticism to murderous intent, but he kept on talking about his dream! Haters will come and haters will go. Just do not allow them to take your dream with them! Hold on to your dream! God gave the dream and God will bring the manifestation of that dream to pass in your life if you do not allow yourself to get distracted by those who despise your dream!
